These eyes are burning.
Sight being blurred by the thought of losing you.
Of losing something I never really had.
This fight isn't even worth fighting.
I won't lose humanity for love;
Love that might not even be there.
My white flag went up a long time ago.
You're still all that holds me together.
And that's not what you need.
My hands are too shaky,
My mind is too tainted,
And my body is too weak.
So I give this to you with diginity.
I keep my pride and hand it over.
Take this white flag, and watch
It turns to ash under your touch.

When I read this, it felt like you're not only reading the writing, but also the emotion.
May sound a bit weird, but oh well, poets can say vague things every once in a while ^^
